Solution-led entry
From demo to a paid PoC pilot inside the client’s procurement process.
The situation
A Chinese enterprise-AI and digital-solutions provider had solid technology and kept getting positive feedback in Saudi demos. But that goodwill had not turned into a pilot budget or a procurement milestone, and the project never entered a formal buying process.
What we did
We shifted from talking about technical capability to talking about business pain, reorganizing the offer around the client’s industry. We turned the requirement interviews into a demo set inside the client’s own scenario, not a generic Demo. We then advanced through concept, Demo and PoC pilot in sequence, each with a clear acceptance standard, so the client could validate value with a small commitment first.
The outcome
The client’s AI solution moved from "concept showcase" to a paid PoC pilot, formally entering the procurement process.
The real barrier for AI in Saudi is rarely technical credibility; it is whether the client will put down the first payment for a pilot. Turning a demo into a demo inside the client’s own scenario works better than repeating the spec sheet.
